EdgarMarin Posted June 8, 2019 Posted June 8, 2019 Secong issue on the new update: When I try to select some objects with my finger, it doesn't work as well as with the previous version. Sometimes I have to make zoom just to select an object big enough to be selected without zooming. Really frustrating. I'm a professional designer working all time on my ipad. Affinity is my main design tool. Really frustrated with the new update, no improvements till now, just bugs and problems. Please, fix it up. Quote
Staff Sean P Posted June 11, 2019 Staff Posted June 11, 2019 Hi EdgarMarin, Do you get this on a new document with a few shapes on, or is it specific to a particular document? If possible could you attach a video please (with show touch enabled). There is a known issue that on some documents certain objects seem to be selecting the ones behind it instead. Quote
EdgarMarin Posted June 12, 2019 Author Posted June 12, 2019 No, it's not with certain documents. With the new update, it's almost impossible to select something with the finger. I mean: Have a text in curves. Select one letter, and, it's impossible to select another one without making a drastic zoom. How can i record a video as you specify in your reply? I'll do it with pleasure. Quote

Please see this article from Apple below. It shows you how to record your iPad screen. If you could also enable Show Touches in the Designer Preferences menu that will help us see where you're touching. You could also use a camera phone if you have one to show your actual physical touch. https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT207935 Quote
