I rarely open iDraw since buying Affinity Designer but there is one option in iDraw that I do miss.  It was fun to use and let me create some interesting effects.  I could take the Eraser tool, adjust it to the size desired, then swipe it across a shape to create a gap between the two segments.  Those segments could then be selected using the Move tool and operated on as a unit, or I could use the Node tool to select only one segment to work on.

Is there a way to do something similar in Designer using the Eraser?
