scb
Hi, I am new (and impressed so far!). My first question is how can I write text on a curve. The promotional video on the home page shows it (at 0:27, writing "Authentic Quality Apparel Wear"). But i cannot figure out how and am reading it is roadmap feature. Could someone let me know the deal? Thanks!!
Staff Lee D Posted May 14, 2015 Staff Share Posted May 14, 2015 Hi scb, Welcome to the forums. With an existing line, shape or curve on the document, select the text tool and place the cursor near the line, it will change to a T with a curved line. Now click, this will convert the line into a text path, you can now begin to type. Thanks Lee scb
A_B_C
Video here: https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/6644-text-to-path/?p=28542 Additionally you might have to reverse the path text and use a baseline offset to follow the example … Cheers, Alex :) scb
