Hi,

What are some of you using as your browser? Are you still using Adobe Bridge or are you switching to Apple Photo for your browser and photo manager, or are you using some other browser?

Thanks,

Joe (aka MacMac to 9 grandkids)

Hi LillieG,

Were you using media pro before starting to use Affinity? What was your photo app before Affinity? Was is Photoshop?

Joe

Hi Joe,

I've used MediaPro through all it's iterations since it's beginning as iView a looong time ago.  I still use Capture NX2 as my RAW processor.  I haven't found anything yet that gives me the deep lush greens that NX2 does and it's still also the easiest IR processor I've found so far.  Before Affinity Photo, I used Photoshop CS3 as my main editor. I do have great hopes for Affinity Photo as an everything app though.  It's already pretty close in potential.

I would like to propose a simpel Foto Viewer as I described here:

https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/5336-file-system/&p=34539

It would be absolutely enough to start out with these 4 core points and maybe roll out one NEW (or Old Aperture) Feature.

This first basic version would be a sort of Teaser and the community can start thinking about the best additions.

I´ll re post my thoughts here:

The key points I´m looking for are

1. display Photos in Fullscreen mode, go back and ahead with the arrow keys

2. being able to delete photos by pressing backspace

3. zooming in (this should be easy for Affinity  ;) )

4. see Camera Settings in Grid mode (ISO, f, exposure time..)

A rating system is not primary necessary to me, as well as showing videos, not necessary.

I would really love to have these 4 key functions!!

Please do this  ;)it´s low hanging fruit!

regards!

I'm using MediaPro from PhaseOne.

I have a VERY old MediaPro Windows platform in a closet somewhere.  Don't think that will do me much good, but I'm going to revisit MediaPro.
