Dark UI vs Light Mac OS

Recommended Posts

Do you have Designer running in its own version of Dark Mode?

Preferences > User Interface.

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.4
Affinity Designer 2.4.1 | Affinity Photo 2.4.1 | Affinity Publisher 2.4.1 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

I've noticed the same. The OS is set to Light, Affinity is set to Dark; the File Open etc. dialogs are supposed to take the color scheme of the OS (e.g. Light in this case), or not?

Affinity Photo - Affinity Designer - Affinity Publisher | macOS Sonoma (14.2) on 16GB MBP14 2021 with 2.4 versions

I get the Open File dialog box set in the Dark mode of Affinity Designer even though I am running the Mac OS in Light Mode. That is what I would expect. I think there were several requests for such behaviour during the beta tests.
