Macmonkey
Hey there I am pretty sure that this is just me, but I still can’t save affinity documents. I get a “you don’t have permission to create a file in that location” error I have had this since about affinity designer 1.5 and have tried multiple ways of resolving the issue without any luck . I can save affinity files if I log in as a different user on my Mac so bit that isn’t ideal. My Mac is getting quite old now 2012 MBP so that may have something to do with it. I am only mentioning it now because when I was using the beta versions I didn’t have that problem and I could open and save without any issues so I was super excited, but with the official 1.7 release it isn’t working again. i’m not sure if anyone has any ideas ? many thanks in advance dave
Staff DWright Posted June 6, 2019 Staff Share Posted June 6, 2019 You get this error if you try to save in the root directory of your hard drive rather than a folder such as Documents or Desktop, please double check the location that you are saving to. daboo
I'm getting the message "Allow access to the folder to export multiple files" every time I save to a new folder. I'm on a mac (Mojave 10.14.5, Affinity Photo 1.7.0) saving to a folder under the following directory: Macintosh HD ▸ Users ▸ daviddienhart ▸ OneDrive ▸ Documents ▸ Halloween24x7 ▸ Products. I didn't receive this prompt when using the 1.6.3 version. Once I authorize Photo to export to that particular folder, I'm no longer prompted on that folder.
