Some do and some don't.  Very few are "officially" supported.

Too bad, this plugin does not work in 1.7.1.404. I liked them to use in Photoshop and i hope Affinity will support them too one time.
The Video shows what occurs when i use it.
AP freezes and i only can end it with the Task Manager.

Thanks. I’m sure developers will catch up pretty soon. That it does take plugins is the starting point. Developers will soon follow.

Adobe is a mature platform. Affinity will get there. We can only look forward to it.

I don´t know. The best is, you try it. They are checked / tested with Version 1.6. I believe you have a 50/50 Chance 
I´m not a Mac User, so i can´t test it.

Now, for what it's worth, Neat Image will find the Affinity plugin directory as well, and install it there for you.

Many that were working in 1.6.5 no longer work in 1.7, and therefore the list there is not accurate.  (not to mention many of those pluigins have new updated versions not listed)

Speaking from a Windows perspective, I have no interest in MACs

Thanks. On the Mac, Affinity 1.7.1, it kind of works. But doesn't actually. It presents very messed up images with lots of artifacts. In fact, twice it's crashed the program entirely., 

In some images it kind of shows the water, but mostly it just doesn't at all. shame, it could have some uses. Flaming Pear's other plugin LunaCell behaves the same. So - as I say, pity.
