"Edit in Designer" didn't work, now it's working

Recommended Posts

When I first opened Photo 1.7, it would not allow me "Edit in Designer", or vice versa. I don't think it's a bug, but perhaps the program just needs some time to link everything together? This was the case on two computers, by the way.... I had a similar experience with Designer 1.7 not allowing me to "Edit in Photo". Things seem to be working in both directions now.

Mac OS High Sierra

Since I downloaded the latest version of designer and photo the option to edit in designer/photo is grayed out. Am I missing an obvious?

For right now, I'm right clicking on the unopened document & choosing to open with Designer as  a work around.

Thanks!

Hi Chul,
I'm sorry for the inconvenience this is causing you. We have improved app detection/checks in the latest builds and this shouldn't be an issue from now on. The respective retail update should be out soon. Let us now if you still have issues after updating both apps. Thanks for your support/understanding.
