haohan Posted June 5, 2019 Posted June 5, 2019 This happened before 1.7 update and still exists now. My basic workflow is as follows: I edit the original files on PC with Lightroom, then export a DNG file for more adjustments in affinity photo. I upload the DNG to OneDrive, download it to iPad, open with affinity photo, and here is what I get. Whenever I’m using tiff files everything is fine. So I suppose there is a bug when importing DNG? Thank you in advance. Quote
Staff Gabe Posted June 6, 2019 Staff Posted June 6, 2019 Hi @haohan, Welcome to the forums. Can you please attach the DNG so we can have a look? Thanks, Gabe. Quote
PaulH10 Posted June 7, 2019 Posted June 7, 2019 I have just started having this problem. Importing DNG File on iPad and is pink. However my daughter has affinity on her MAC book and this opens fine. So this is a new problem. Quote
haohan Posted June 8, 2019 Author Posted June 8, 2019 Hello, @GabrielM Here is a test file test.dng. For this case, Affinity photo clearly failed to read the metadata for some reason. I'm not sure how the pink look happened to my other file and to @PaulH10 Quote
Staff Gabe Posted June 10, 2019 Staff Posted June 10, 2019 Very odd. Mine loads fine. Any chance you can attach a screen recording of this in action? RPReplay_Final1560163050.MP4 Quote
haohan Posted June 10, 2019 Author Posted June 10, 2019 Maybe you can try again with LR or some other apps? The file has been edited with Lightroom and looks very saturated. Here is the video. 8738F098-1CC1-452C-82A6-9EF45B7E778C.MOV Quote
Staff Gabe Posted June 11, 2019 Staff Posted June 11, 2019 I'm not sure I follow you on this. Sorry. When you send the file from that app to Affinity, you send a RAW file and not the edited file. This colour change is expected as you cannot write back to a RAW file. What you see in that app is not what you send to Affinity. Quote
PaulH10 Posted June 16, 2019 Posted June 16, 2019 Well for some reason mine are now opening fine. So not sure what the problem was? Quote
