Colour palette swap ‘x’

Recommended Posts

Hi,

is it possible to set the double tap on the pencil to different task, I.e. swap the colour palette from white to black so you can quickly mask as it’s a bit of a pain to keep selecting the new colour unless there is another shortcut. In photoshop it was ‘x’?

Cheers

Terry

Hi DotDotSlash and Welcome to the Forums,

In the latest update of Affinity Photo on iPad (1.7) under Preferences>Pencil you can set a double action but at the moment that is limited to Zoom to fit or Undo.  Hopefully we will see more options added to this in the next few updates :)

You can swap the two colours in the Colour Studio by swiping across the colour wells from left to right.

@DotDotSlash Try using the pixel brush and setting Alternate to background colour. You need to select black paint on mask and select white. After that it’s just a matter of tapping Alternate icon in context menu to switch the brush from black to white and back. It toggles each time you tap.
