split an form to an grid ??

Is there an way like indesign has that you draw an form and hold the mouse than you kan split the form in Row / Lines with the arrowkeys on the keyboard til release the mouse ??

i like this a lot in my workflow

Hello @RONNO,

welcome to the forum. This is not possible at the moment.

What you can do is draw a table with the number of cells you need. The go to 'Layer > Convert to Curves'. This will result in a vector object that looks similar. But it is an object of multiple lines and it is of little use if you want to apply fills. So this is perhaps not exaclty what you are looking for

it's almost the same but an longer workflow and it is not posible with every kind of an form and can i build an gap between the forms ?

I've seen a video about this feature in InDesign some time ago and there is no equivalent of this in APub. I did not know that this is possible with any kind of shape (= form?).
You can achieve this only with some workarounds and they will certainly take their time. It depends on what you want to create.

From what I recall this feature was introduced to InDesign at a rather late time after the first release. The same will apply to APub if it ever will come.
