Publisher pre-order - payment issues

Recommended Posts

I just tried to purchase the upcoming Publisher pre-release and get an error message about problems. As far as I can tell, no charges were actually attempted. It’s now 11:34 ET USA, almost an hour after the earlier reports of problems.

I don't know whether this will prove "helpful" to other posters here, or not.

I placed an order for APub this morning, selecting to pay by PayPal.  Unfortunately, when being redirected to PayPal, everything seemed to freeze once I was past the log in page.  I left the link to PayPal open for some minutes but eventually closed the page, apparently without being able to complete my order.

But I almost immediately tried to log in to my PayPal account again, this time successfully, and was able to see that the payment to Serif had gone through.  An order confirmation email arrived a few minutes later so clearly, whatever caused the initial "freeze" did not actually interrupt the order process.

Please contact AffinityOrders@serif.com if you think you were debited, as the order doesn't seem to be on your account.

Thanks Patrick :)

Axis Bank did not  debited at that time.

But now I purchased it and it shows in my Affinity Account and thanks for the offer.

I think too many requests are coming in right now.

I pre-ordered just a few minutes ago, via PayPal and without any issue.

Best regards!
