DM1 Posted June 3, 2019 Share Posted June 3, 2019 A couple of issues here. Firstly when selecting/refining, the actions can still be carried out by finger when the Touch for Gestures setting is on. Secondly, after a Selection is made, choosing duplicate, 'duplicates' the entire layer, not just the selection. It is possible to use Copy when the selection is made. This copies and pastes the selection. To avoid confusion, possibly the Selection actions in Designer should mirror the actions in Photo? M1 IPad Air 10.9/256GB lpadOS 17.1.1 Apple Pencil (2nd gen). Regarding the selection, the behaviour does mirror Photo, except that Photo has two duplicate options on the Edit Menu - 'Duplicate' and 'Duplicate Selection'. The action of both buttons named 'Duplicate' remains the same. If you're not finding this would you be able to attach a screenshot or video showing the method you are using please? When I tap, Copy then Paste I get a copy of the selection. If I have a selection and tap DuplicTe, I would expect to duplicate the selection, not the whole layer.
