Distill7 Posted June 2, 2019 Posted June 2, 2019 The new HSL adjustment layer lets you choose a color range to which the color changes are applied. However, when you close the HSL and open it again, the color range values are lost on the color wheel even though the effect is still applied. If you move the hue, saturation, or luminosity sliders, the effect is additive, which means it adds up to the previous values even though you can't see them on layer anymore. Resetting the layer also works fine. You should just fix it so the color range values are retained on the color wheel once you open the HSL adjustment layer once again.

I looked all over the HSL dialog for master, not finding it I opened up the old HSL which has the drop-down menu for colors, and the default of course is master (and the HSV ). It has the same appearance when changing the reds, closing then reopening. Did I mention the old HSL has the HSV option ? TEcHNOpls Posted June 2, 2019 Posted June 2, 2019 This should help. "I'm a lumberjack and I'm OK, I sleep all night, and I work all day..."
TEcHNOpls Posted June 2, 2019 Posted June 2, 2019 I do agree, there could be some visual cue to show that particular custom setting is being used (ie. is in non-default setting of 0/0/0). "I'm a lumberjack and I'm OK, I sleep all night, and I work all day..."
Distill7 Posted June 2, 2019 Author Posted June 2, 2019 Thanks, clicking on the red again bring the selected range. However, I think a better user experience would be to default it to the last selected color. TEcHNOpls 1
