Jeremy Bohn
First, all I'm seeing for setting tab stops is in the Paragraph panel. I'm guessing there is no way to set tabs directly on the text frame like InDesign or even Word can, unless I've totally missed it. While the tab settings in the Paragraph panel are good for seeing everything at a glance, it ends up being hit and miss when trying to figure out exact visual placement in your text, simply because there is no ruler involved. I suggest tabs needs a separate and complimentary feature to enact this. (I still also greatly suggest that the Paragraph panel contains way too many things and Tab Stops is one thing that should be broken away from it, but that's another topic.) Second, when typing in a measurement for a Tab Stop, and then hitting the tab key, I would expect the selection to go to the next tab stop measurement in the panel so I can continue. This does not happen, rather, after you tab, the text cursor returns to the current text frame.

There you can add tab stops like you are aksing for. d. Quote Affinity Suite on Windows (V2) and iPad (V2). Beta testing when available. Jeremy Bohn
Thanks for pointing that out. I looked for a bit but didn't see that, probably since I assumed it being a text feature it would be with the other text/paragraph items.

During the beta period we all have to try and see how things work. Once the help file is finished with the official release and some more tutorial videos it will get better. I strongly assume they are very busy at the moment d. Quote Affinity Suite on Windows (V2) and iPad (V2). Beta testing when available. Jeremy Bohn
I was about to post several points on the shortcomings of that tab stop ruler, and then by accident I right-clicked on it which opened up the tab stop options. This resolved my main complaint, that I'd have to frequently open the Paragraph panel and find Tab Stops within (again, the Paragraph panel contains too much stuff!). However, my other main complaint is that the ruler doesn't have all the numbers... in my current document, even when zoomed in to fit my 27 inch screen, it's in increments of 3. iaing
