In my image,, the top layer is a texture. I would like to adjust the opacity of that layer. At the top the it should be at 100% and at the bottom 0%.  Is this doable? Thanks.

I do it using a mask and applying a fill to the mask with the Fill tool. Add Mask to layer (+ in layer studio). Select mask and tap Fill tool. Now draw a line from top to bottom. Tap the top node and set colour to white. Tap the bottom node and set colour to black. Move the dash line to adjust where image starts to disappear.
