Josephine Baker Plush Design : Designer

Recommended Posts

Hi there! I've been working on translating my earlier Josephine Baker illustration into a plushie pattern design. I've been only using my iPad and Designer for this project and I'm enjoying it!!!! I'll post the doll when she's finished!

Enjoy!

Perfectly executed @segts

The blue feathers are an outstanding idea and perfect color contrast.

I gave up using Designer for hobby use - a "professional" vector drawing program without actual vector features. Customers waiting for five years in vain is more than any company can ask for. Maybe if Affinity Designer 2.0 gets real and advanced vector features I can use it. Until then... I am a customer, a potential upgrader and an active observer with an opinion. Currently I am slowly finishing a project I started in Designer.

Further... give up and please hire an UX (usability designer), Serif. It is how professional software is made in this century.

Awesome! I really understand you. Getting your work in a physical form is almost always a special pleasure. I never made patterns or textures. Then I met this woman who makes them for a living and I suddenly saw patterns everywhere in life. Fascinating.

As I've mentioned before, your artwork is both skilled and delightful. I've never thought about making fabric surfaces for dolls, so what you've done is a bit of a revelation to me.

To be business-like, how many plushies do you suppose you need to sell to re-coup expenses?
