segts
Hi there! I've been working on translating my earlier Josephine Baker illustration into a plushie pattern design. I've been only using my iPad and Designer for this project and I'm enjoying it!!!! I'll post the doll when she's finished! Enjoy! Jowday
Perfectly executed @segts The blue feathers are an outstanding idea and perfect color contrast. I really understand you. Getting your work in a physical form is almost always a special pleasure. I never made patterns or textures. Then I met this woman who makes them for a living and I suddenly saw patterns everywhere in life. Fascinating. Share a photo with us when it arrives. segts 1 Quote "The user interface is supposed to work for me - I am not supposed to work for the user interface." segts
So here Josephine is along with my first prototype! It's been a fun journey and all the work was done using Designer on the iPad! segts
I also turned her plush face design into a cute pattern in minutes. I’m really excited for this fabric to arrive!
gdenby
As I've mentioned before, your artwork is both skilled and delightful. I've never thought about making fabric surfaces for dolls, so what you've done is a bit of a revelation to me. To be business-like, how many plushies do you suppose you need to sell to re-coup expenses? segts 1 Quote iMac 27" Retina, c. 2015: OS X 10.11.5: 3.3 GHz I c-5: 32 Gb, AMD Radeon R9 M290 2048 Mb iPad 12.9" Retina, iOS 10, 512 Gb, Apple pencil Huion WH1409 tablet
