I would like to know how it works in AD!
what is the practice to follow in AD,
the question concerns "Af Designers"

Well you didn't said spefically for AD before, just named Indesign. - As MEB already answered there isn't such an AD feature like for example Illustrator has instead.

☛ Affinity Designer 1.10.8 ◆ Affinity Photo 1.10.8 ◆ Affinity Publisher 1.10.8 ◆ OSX El Capitan
☛ Affinity V2.3 apps ◆ MacOS Sonoma 14.2 ◆ iPad OS 17.2

Ciao.: NICKY G.:.,
Questo non è supportato in Designer (non puoi collegare cornici di testo qui). Solo l'editore ha questa funzione.

I think it's a small implementation that is missing in AD! They should add it.

I understand that for long layouts Pubblisher is better suited to the purpose but with Designers you can make small layouts, tree-folders and it would be very useful to be able to divide the text into columns or let the text blocks continue in other text blocks.

Could you add ??

I hope Serif will not create a monster application, but will leave specific tools for specific purposes in specific applications.
