Panning in the navigator

In the desktop edition, you can pan a zoomed image by moving the indicator rectangle in the navigator.

Why doesn't this work in the iPad edition, where it would be more useful?

Hey Nikos,

I logged this with the developers when the apps first came out for iPad but it was I was told this is intentional as it is easy to pan within the document on an iPad.

This is true - but I think I have changed my mind.

If this got logged again, it would probably get done..

Andy, what exactly do you mean by “log”?

Isn’t feedback and requests the purpose of this forum?

Hey Nikos,

By 'log' I believe Andy is giving me the nudge to log it in our bug/improvement database again as the initial log was closed—it's nothing for you to worry about

I am checking every Testflight beta to see if it is there

But it is not there yet.
Is there a schedule of features that are going to appear soon, on public display?

No—sorry. We very rarely give out timescales or hint as to when something may be fixed I'm afraid. Occasionally I might get a last minute notification from dev and I'll say something like 'Should be fixed in the next build' but that's only when I see it get pulled.

This inconsistency between the desktop and mobile version always makes me think that the mobile app has stopped responding to touches...
