erric
Hi, let me point out that the luminance selection does not work. In Affinity Photo 1.6.5.135 use the Shift + Ctrl keys. Instead in beta version 1.7.0.350 you need Ctrl + Alt. The selection takes place, but the adjustment works on the whole image, not on the selected part only.I apologize for my inaccurate English. Staff Gabe Posted May 30, 2019 Staff Share Posted May 30, 2019 Hi @erric, Is your layer a "Pixel" layer or an "Image" layer? If it's "Image" you need to right click on it and choose rasterise. Thanks, Gabe.
erric
Thanks for the reply. I tried rasterizing, but the changes still occur over the entire image.

Staff Gabe Posted May 31, 2019 Staff Share Posted May 31, 2019 Nothing wrong with your photo. It's just the selection you made not being opaque: I suggest you re-do your selection Selections and Masking Making Selections Refining Selections Pixel Selections from Layers Quick Masks Mask Layers Exposure Merging Clipping vs Masking Vector Masking
