What kind of point do you want to snap to, Angelo? Do you mean something like this?

I chose the ‘Curve drawing’ Snapping preset before taking the above screenshots.

The Point Transform Tool is available in 1.7 iPad - see attached screenshot.

Alfred it’s very kind of you. I don’t know how to use the Transform point tool, but a friend of forum told me that could be very usefull for some precisely operations, like snap the center with an intersection point.

It may be covered in the desktop Help file available online. Worth a look. Not documented in iPad yet though.

Transform point seems to allow you to set a rotation point and then using the centre point icon in the object, move the object around the set point while transforming by increasing and decreasing distance to set point. Interestingly, the Transform studio control rotates around the Set target point (that’s a positive) but the rotation measure resets to zero once released. Not sure if this is by design.

It is great that you can enter exact rotation values with the new external rotation point, just a pity that power duplicate does not work for this option.

I suspect it still buggy. Note I’ve How the rotation setting reverts to zero when the keyboard digits are entered.
