Andrée Posted May 30, 2019 Posted May 30, 2019 Hello all, I would really appreciate your assistance -- Thank you! I am retouching a scanned photo - using the dust tool and now I want to paint over the areas not needed with the undo brush tool -- however I keep getting blocked with a pop up window saying "you must select a history snapshot before trying to undo" -- I go into the history panel - I try on different stages -- and nothing works? PaulEC Posted May 30, 2019 Posted May 30, 2019 Are you clicking on the camera icon, rather than selecting the history state? firstdefence Posted May 30, 2019 Posted May 30, 2019 Click on the little camera icon https://affinity.help/photo/English.lproj/pages/Tools/tools_undoBrush.html Also be aware that if you have adjustment filters you will have to merge visible to paint to history.
