Join and trim paths

Is there a way to joining paths at intersection and to trimming a path like the join tool of Illustrator?

I'm not sure if I have understood you correctly if possible could you provide an example of the tool in illustrator?

Hi Angelos58,

You can join nodes and curves to one another by selecting the Nodes manually using the Node Tool but there is no tool shown like the one in the video I'm afraid.
