I can not make a clipping path of a linked image resource work as a mask in AfPub.

Since pixel transparency is displayed within the image in AfPub and exported PDF, I'm assuming a bug concerning clipping path.

.jpg doesn't have transparency and some settings for .tiff won't either.

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6 
Affinity Designer 2.6.0 | Affinity Photo 2.6.0 | Affinity Publisher 2.6.0 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

Yes, concerning transparent pixels in the images. That isn't what I miss.

I rather do expect to see transparency made by the clipping path which is saved in the image files. – If it works then the image shows but black only (no white, no gray) on a blue .afpub rectangle. I'd expect a clipping path to work with any of those file formats.
