Affinity Designer + future apps listed at Lynda.com

Recommended Posts

So, Lynda.com heard your cries as did I. I did not want to say anything until I knew that the course was complete.

There now is an Affinity Designer Course  on Lynda.com created by yours truly. If you already have taken my Affinity Designer course on Udemy you find that  the content I supply here is new and reflects new topics that cover the features found in the latest 1.4 update.

Thank you all for the support I hope you will find the course useful.

Course Description:

Looking for a compelling alternative to Adobe Illustrator or CorelDRAW? It was created with the professional-level features that any artist, designer, or illustrator needs to execute high-quality results.

Ahahah!

Looking forward for Affinity Photo to lose its photoshop-alternative label  ;)

Don't worry it will. As annoying as it is it not a bad thing. Not many apps can be compared in that way, especially out the gate. Affinity is only Version 1.4 in a couple of years  Adobe is 20 years in the game and sits at the top of the food chain. Affinity already has caught up in many places and surpass Adobe in others. Time will tell but the only way it will loose this comparison and take it rightful place in the industry is to keep creating great tools and functionality and people like yourself spreading the word. and showing what can be done. Exciting time are ahead for the creative community!
