Hi bagmetv.

Thank you very much for the file. I've reproduced it here and will get it passed on to development, it seems to be something related to the History. I've re-saved your file in 1.7.0.12 without History and it will re-open in 1.7.0.14.

Many thanks, Sean

Do you know when this might happen?

Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums.

The bug was probably fixed in 1.7.1 or 1.7.2, and we're up to 1.8.2 now. Someone from Serif would know for sure.

Note though, that in general a lower level of Affinity cannot open files created by a higher level (1.7 cannot open files created by 1.8; 1.6 could not open files created by 1.7; etc.) and that is not a bug. The bug involved a higher level not being able to open a lower level's file.

If you're having a problem, what level of which application are you using, and what level saved the file?
