1.7.0.9 Editing nodes and magnifying function

Recommended Posts

When using pen tool and switching to edit in context menu, the selection of nodes and movement of lines works very well. Initial perceptions are that this is a significant improvement over the 1.6 release. Well done!

When switching to the Node tool however, we now get a magnifying glass (with Apple Pencil use) which at times obstructs the users view. It’s not really needed with pencil and would be better switched off, when Touch for Gestures is on.

but only if you touch (not Pencil) and if you hold till the copy cut delete menu appears.

It seems the easiest way to reproduce this is to select a curve with node tool active, then  press and hold finger on screen. Pencil not needed. In the screen recording I'm just using my finger to long press.

Easily reproduced. I'm not sure why the loupe is still appearing if you touch and hold finger with node tool selected and touch for Gestures on.

Cheers - I have reproduced it, but the issue is still open with development to be fixed.

Fixed. No loupe with pencil. Just when I was getting used to it too. (Just kidding! )
