UI assets for Microsoft Windows

Recommended Posts

Hi, does anybody know if there are any UI assets for Microsoft Windows 7...10? I'm creating Win app and would like to sketch some UI ideas using Affinity Designer. I would need buttons, text box, label, list view...all the basic controls. I guess i could build them from scratch, but i'm kinda lazy :D and was wondering if there are any available. Did some googling but couldn't find anything.

Cheers

This is what you can find, some PSD and a couple of AI files. Also, on XD, which might be useful since that program is free to use with some sharing limitations.

Best regards!

Thanks..there is no Affinity specific toolkit. Any info what is the best option from those to use with Affinity? Photoshop or Illustrator?

The PSD and the AI file open just fine, and the experience won't differ that much if they'd make an AFDESIGN version, I guess.

Best regards!

The AI toolkit from Microsoft loads fine into AD but the way the layers are arranged makes the samples difficult to use as self-contained items. For example, try selecting just the layers used by the Calendar Picker control (second page, second row down, second white area from the left).
Have you tried Blend for Visual Studio? (It comes free with Visual Studio.) What’s created in there is ready to be used with the actual code without any extra conversion work. Or do you need something, maybe presentation-wise, that Blend can’t do?
