Seadog
I really hope there are plans for print export with page Imposition. That is, automatic or semi-auto page imposition for print, at final output. Petar Petrenko
Why do you need imposition? Let it be done by others. You just send them PDF file. Even users do have printers or offer printing services and they need software to get the job done. Of course, there are professional imposition softwares, and RIPs offeer such features, but sometimes, you're off the office and by a phone or mail request, you need to prepare something fast. And imposition isn't anything magical, used to do it manually back in the days - hell I even used to do stuff manually (CTF) that now CTP's do without touch of a hand. Even such people need software to get the job done. MickRose
I'm not aware of any page layout program that does anything other than very basic imposition and I certainly wouldn't expect Serif to be any different. A_B_C
You can do some sort of basic imposition already … but of course, it is far from a dedicated solution. https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/82029-master-pages-problem-when-changing-facing-pages-order/&tab=comments#comment-431986
CLC
Well, here you can get a cheap (and even free) dedicated imposition software and/or Acrobat plugin: http://www.montax-imposer.com/ Enjoy. Once upon a time... Calamus for Atari and Windows had that feature. A professional one. I'll explain to you briefly: Create a new document with "n" number of pages big enough to put all the pages (from a test PDF file) you need ot impose; Adjust them by the scheme you have; Repeat it on every page; Put all elements you need (crop marks, CMYK colors samples...); Save it as imposition template. Now, just rename the file you need to impose (with the same number of pages) and when you open the imposition template you should have the real pages imposed.
