Resource Manager feature suggestions

Recommended Posts

Great work to date!  The Beta is looking really good.

Functionality of the resource manager is key to how we would use the software,

feature suggestions:

  1. "Update all" button.
  2. Linked path options -
  • full (abosulte) file path, or
  • relative file path i.e.     ..\..\folder_name\filename.psd

Thanks

3. show long paths with line-break (–instead cropping)

4. repeat path/file name in "Replace"/OS window

5. auto-open folders and highlight selected object (if used more than once)

6. show total number of all placed resources

7. show file size of selected resource in details section
8. show modification date of selected resource in details section

9. don't crop long profile names in details section

10. open Resource Manager with click+modifier key on object

11. add function "Reveal in Finder (mac) /Explorer (win)" (e.g. button, or pop-up menu on path click)

12. on widening the window do auto-increase width of "Name" column (– instead of "Placed DPI" column)
