Hello, so I just switched from Ps (today)  And the first problem I got - the styles. Where did they go?

I opened Psd file in Affinity and have zero glitters. I tried to paste the Style, but there is no Option to Paste the actual style. I am confuses, because I do art for kids and glitter is very important. I basically can't use this soft without text styles. It's just useless for me..

Please, help me. Thank you.

See these threads related to (unsupported) PS styles:

See this for APh/AD own styles usage:

You can find a bunch of styles in the forums Ressources section.

☛ Affinity V2.3 apps ◆ MacOS Sonoma 14.2 ◆ iPad OS 17.2

I knew that, I knew that something will be wrong. Because who need styles anyway?

Can this one (Photopea) handle your PSD file more correctly in terms of styles? - Other than that you may have to try if other exchange formats (PDF) would reuse more from the PS side here.

As you know, Affinity Photo does not support PS styles, but it does support Styles that are just bitmap fills. (This is entirely separate from text styles.) So for example, if you can apply one of your glitter PS styles to a large rectangle in PS & export that as a PNG or JPEG image, you could create (for example) a large rectangle in Affinity Photo, use the Gradient Tool set to Type:Bitmap to fill the rectangle with that image (optionally setting the Extend type & such) & add that rectangle's style to one of the Affinity Photo Style categories.

If you have a lot of PS styles, obviously this would take a lot of work, but if you want to eventually be free of Adobe's subscription model, I am not sure there is any other good alternative.
