Tom Piorkowski
Hello Group, I am planning to leave LR soon, and, I’m looking at Affinity or Luminar. Luminar seems to have two advantages from what I see, one being the DAM, the other, an easier user interface. I sure there are many pro’s and con’s between the two of them. Are there any glaring differences that I am missing and should be aware of? Thanks, Affinity does look like a great product, just trying to make the right choice. firstdefence
Well, I think Affinity Photo is easier to use, Luminar has a nice interface and they have the plugin option pretty much nailed, although Filter Forge 8 will not start but all my other plugins do and it feels quicker to process the plugins. But, I think they are different beasts much like LR and photoshop are and from my perspective I'd say that is the comparison, Luminar is LR and Affinity Photo is Photoshop.
