Ram C. Kumar
Hi, I exported SVG shapes and tried to import it in blender 3d software. But, when I imported the file. the points are missing. I'm not sure whether it is a bug. I re-imported the SVG file in Affinity designer. got the same result as blender. Please check the screenshots. Let me know your thoughts if I am wrong. svg-shapes.svg Edited May 20, 2019 by Ram Kumar typo mistake
Staff Patrick Connor Posted May 20, 2019 Staff Share Posted May 20, 2019 @Ram Kumar Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums I am not clear if you report relates to the retail version or the latest 1.7.0.x beta build. Can you please confirm the version this relates to? Quote Patrick Connor Serif Europe Ltd Latest V2 releases on each platform Help make our apps better by joining our beta program! v_kyr
It's the same behavior for AD 1.6.1 under OSX, the node point's are then missing there too for a SVG export. Jowday
No matter how many nodes you add to two of the sides, they are not exported (SVG, PDF, EPS, WMF). It is the smooth curve code (optimizing) that removes these nodes behind your back when you export to SVG etc. Just click smooth curve and see that same result. The result is reversed for some formats. This kind of curve optimization should be optional.
