[1.7.0.126] Sort of stroke delay

Recommended Posts

Hi All!

I'm testing new tools on the iPad Pro (first Generation) and I'm experiencing (with default ones too) a sort of delay when I quickly lift the pencil.

My stroke ends before the real endpoint and the remaining part appears half a second after.

Will add a video later.

I'm trying the .127 version and I also noticed a certain inertia on the end of the stroke when drawing with a certain speed.
In general, everything is much more fluid and responsive, but at the moment the pencil is raised, a small additional stretch arrives with a certain delay.

All on the iPad PRO 2018 ... the last one

In the last version the .128 I have the impression that the problem has been solved.

Everything is much more fluid even compared to 1.6 and the brushes, even those by Paolo, have a more natural response.

I can confirm this, I have noticed like SONB's Video and some brushes like the Daub Natural ones are sometimes unusable slow and laggy.

I'm having this issue in the latest .128 build. I'm on an iPad Pro 2018.

Hi again,

I found a fix for my iPad. Since I have only the 64GB Version I was running low on space, I restored my device wich was on the iOS 12.4 beta2. After the restore I was on iOS 12.3.1 again. So I setup the device as new, not from a Backup. After installing the Photo beta again, its now super smooth with all brushes without the lag and the end of each stroke.

cheers,

Lutz

@Chris B

I'm trying it with 180 mb files and I have to say that it remains very fluid ... I tried painting on large textures.

Compared to version 1.6, those annoying white squares that appeared and disappeared while they were drawing.

For now I am very satisfied even if I have not had the chance to try it in situations so different from the drawing.
