The bug fix I mentioned was in relation to the colour picker window (that would previously have shown the clipped value). Showing the in-range colour values in the Colour panel is expected, but you should be able to go into the Colour Chooser to see the real values (though there is actually a bug there, in that it doesn't show the intensity properly).
