Assistant Manager Grayed Out on Mac

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I've got new mac and reinstalled Affinity Photo. I need to change the RAW engine and in the older mac I could do it through the Assistant Manager, but now the option is grayed out under the View menu and I am not sure what to do to enable it again. Please help.

Affinity Photo Version: 1.6.7
OS Version: 10.14.5

Thanks

FWIW, at least with macOS 10.13 you can access the Assistant Manager & from that the Develop Assistant without having to open a file if the toolbar includes the Assistant Options button. It may be necessary to customize it for that button to appear on the toolbar, but you can also do that without opening a file by right-clicking on the toolbar & choosing "Customize Toolbar ..." from the menu that pops up.

Since I have not upgraded to 10.14, I don't know if this still works in that version, but I would like to know from someone running 10.14 if it does.

TIA

Does.

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.4
Affinity Designer 2.4.0 | Affinity Photo 2.4.0 | Affinity Publisher 2.4.0 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
