jim33
Hello! I would like to make a question please. The affinity photo installer's .exe file has an expired digital signature/certificate (expired 11/05/2019). Is it still valid? I am afraid to install it that my antivirus will go nuts. Can you please check it. Will you renew it? Thanks
- S -
The digital signature is OK, because the code signing certificate was valid when it was used to sign the software and it was counter-signed by Symantec with a timestamp to prove when it was signed. It will install fine.
Staff Dan C Posted May 16, 2019 Staff Share Posted May 16, 2019 Hi jim33, Welcome to the forums We've also recently updated our digital certificates, however this can occasionally take a few days to update for Anti-virus systems. We recommend pausing your anti-virus, installing the application, then restarting your anti-virus. I hope this helps! Quote Please note - I am currently out of the office for a short while whilst recovering from surgery (nothing serious!), therefore will not be available on the Forums during this time. Should you require a response from the team in a thread I have previously replied in - please Create a New Thread and our team will be sure to reply as soon as possible. Many thanks!
