Separated Mode/Merge All Windows

I understand the Separated Mode in the Window menu (acte as an on/off). But I don't understand the Merge All Windows command... it seems inactive and redundant.

Since you ask it in the bug area: To me, with two monitors ...

... "Separate Mode" creates a very chaotic panel placement, many of them outside the screens need to un- and re-activated via View > Studio to make them again visible at all.

... "Merge All Windows" combines separated document windows into one common main window – but does not touch the chaotic panel arrangement created by "Separate Mode".
