Ace Alexander Posted May 13, 2019 Posted May 13, 2019 Hello. I am finding it impossible to export a jpg or any form of a picture with a transparent background. I have done the "erase white paper" and "transparent background" commands. What I want to do is have a tiny image appear on a video at the same time I speak about it, however, when I export the image from affinity with the transparent background selected, it is still exporting on a solid white background. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Quote
R C-R Posted May 14, 2019 Posted May 14, 2019 The JPEG format does not support transparency, so if you want a transparent background try exporting to PNG instead. firstdefence Posted May 14, 2019 Posted May 14, 2019 Which app are you using? Affinity Designer: Affinity Photo: Then export with a transparent background option in png export options. This PNG was made using the settings above It might look like it has a white background but it doesn't.
