Make guides other than horizontal or vertical

Is there a way to make a diagonal guide? I am doing some drawing in perspective and would like to snap to vanishing guideline. I was wanting to recreate a photograph I took of a glass walled office building. Part of that was to accurately scale the windows and I was using a trick with right triangles, the hypotenuse and adjacent sides, so I wanted a snap to the vanishing line; there may be an easier way to do it, but it seems to work.

Hi Lee D and Welcome to the Forums,

Not sure if you have found the Grids and Axis Manager under the View menu but that would allow you to create a diagonal guide.  You could also setup an isometric grid which may also help in this kind of work, as shown on this Video
