voordevorm Posted May 10, 2019 Posted May 10, 2019 A method I used in Photoshop I haven't found in Photo. Command-option-(shift)-arrow lets me nudge selections and straight away copy them. I really miss that way to create geometric shapes really fast, because I do it without thinking. Is there an alternative in Photo? wolkie.mov CLC 1 Quote
Staff stokerg Posted May 11, 2019 Staff Posted May 11, 2019 Hi voordevorm and Welcome to the Forums, I'm not aware of a way to do this. I thought our Duplicate Selection option may be able to, but that just repeats the 1st selection at a set distance and not by nudging. I'll leave this post here for now as someone else may know something i don't and if not, i'll get it moved over to Feature Requests Quote
prophet Posted July 1, 2020 Posted July 1, 2020 I'd love to be able to nudge and copy. I didn't really realize how often I do this until I couldn't do it any more in Affinity. Quote
Gear maker Posted July 1, 2020 Posted July 1, 2020 It's soo easy to get used to just adding a cmd J in front of the nudge, just one keystroke more. It's a natural now for me. Quote iMac (27-inch, Late 2009) with macOS Sierra
