Change dimensions and rotation of multiple objects

I believed that would be easy. changing dimension or rotation of multiple objects at the same time, but after a lot of attempts I can’t do it.

Help me, please.

I find if I select all objects and change rotation/size in Transform studio it works for me.

Thank you DM1 for video. Yes, I know you can do that, but I didn’t explain exactly my thought and I’m sorry.

for example, If I have for squares and want to change the size of 100 pix for side, I can select all but the number is not more 100px but the result of an equation: side of single square: side of selection rectangle=100: ?.

 

then If I want to change only one side of the four rectangles, I can’t.

and If I want to rotate all the rectangles fixing for all the same vertex, I can’t.

Have you tried using synchronised symbols?

Paul, thank you very much. I have still to explore the power of Symbols and not to consider them necessary only for patterns.
