Hi, I’m still very new to AD for iPad.  I save files on the iPad, so they become visible in the Files app.  When I export PNG and/or JPG versions of a file, all of them become visible in the Files app, but Files does not show file name extensions, so there’s no way to differentiate one file format from another.

Can anyone suggest a way of distinguishing between files in different formats (afdesign, PNG, JPG, etc) when viewed in the Files app?  I can’t find a preference setting for either AD or Files; am I looking in the wrong place?

Regards

Lionel

A workaround is inserting the extension in the name. For example instead of calling a file “puppy” you can call it “puppypng” or “puppy_png”.

@LionelD if it's just an occasional need, long press the file in the Files list and tap Info from the popup menu (you may need to tap the right arrow if the menu is truncated).

If it's a "you need to see it on every file every time" need, this suggestion will be annoying at best. :-D
