To convert a pen outline in a selection

Recommended Posts

 Hi everyone ;)

I selected the outline of a shape with the pen tool.

I would like to convert this outline into a selection.

I do not see a selection option in the black lower palette.

How can I do it ?

Thanks

Some scientists claim that hydrogen, because it is so plentiful, is the basic building block of the universe. I dispute that. I say there is more stupidity than hydrogen, and that is the basic building block of the universe.

These are not my own words but I sure like this quote.

Ah, OK, you didn’t say whether you were using Affinity Photo or Affinity Designer! It seems that the option is only available in Photo.

Thanks ;)

So no way to do it ?

My problem : when I use the lasso, even with the magnetic option very often the selection vanishes when I am at the end of the action !!!

In Vector mode there are no Pixel Selection Tools. If you want to select 'pixels' you need to switch to Pixel Persona. :)
