Will there be a potential for "save-to-cloud?" in the future?

Recommended Posts

Myself and someone else consistently work on the same file.

I will email him version 1.0.

He will email me version 2.0.

I will email him version 3.0 et cetera.

It would be extremely nice if there were a way where we didn't have to go through these emailing hassles, and rather - could simply save it to dropbox or some other online-file sharing website automatically.

Hello @kdog3682,

With a small tool, you can sync any folder with Dropbox.
Unfortunately, it is not enough just to create a shortcut in Dropbox folder.
Dropbox does not recognize the shortcut.
Instead, you have to create a symbolic link in the Dropbox,
this is done by the tool Dropbox Folder Sync, or Google Search.
I hope it helps.

Cheers

I think you're on Mac. On Windows it's easy to Export or Save directly into Dropbox by navigating to a Dropbox folder in the dialog window. Or any other cloud service that ties into the Windows file system.
