Kristi
Hi all, I have a challenge regarding saving files with transparent background. I used the file some weeks ago and everything was fine i.e I could change the numbers with transparent background. Now I am following the same steps Export - > (Choose jpg) -> (Area) "Selection without background" and after exporting the file has a white background. What is it that I am suddenly missing? Are there implemented any changes to Affinity lately that affect the transparency? The file is attached. It is a test file. It looks like not matter what file I use (an old one or I create a new one) they do not get saved with transparent background. WHY?! "Test bgr" is the affinity file. Test.jpg is the file that I get after I exported it with using "Selection without background". Thanks in advance for your input ;) test bgr .afdesign
firstdefence
Welcome to the forum, JPEG doesn't support Transparency, use PNG24 instead. Well JPEG 2000 does support transparency but Affinity Designer doesn't export to it so it can be ignored as an option.
