royalcrown28
Hi there, I just got affinity designer for windows. I'm already having issue, I feel like I need to hold a magnifying glass to my screen to be able to see anything. The UI is exceedingly tiny. Similiar programs i'm use to using have an option to change the scale? On both my monitor and drawing tab, it's very very small. Will there be added support for this soon? I really don't want to destroy my eyeballs trying to use this software if not.
carl123
Lots of people have mentioned the Icons etc being too small for comfortable use, especially on larger screen sizes, so Serif are aware. You may want to check out Affinity Glass when it becomes available. mikerofoto 1 Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. walt.farrell
Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums, @royalcrown28. I'm afraid that at this point you will need to adjust the Windows Display Scaling setting, which will affect all your applications. Perhaps setting the scaling to 125% or 150% would suffice. R C-R
While "Affinity Glass" is an obvious (if very well done) hoax, I think there could be a real world version of it, that being what I am provisionally calling "Loupe Display Mode." This would pop up a magnifying loupe, similar to the color picker one, whenever the pointer is moved over UI elements like the Tools panel, toolbars, Layers panel items, etc. This would have the advantage of not using up any extra screen space for larger & easier to see UI elements. So, anybody think this would be a useful addition? Would that be useful?
