Affinity Photo on 13" Laptop Screen Issues

I have it both installed on a desktop 24" monitor and on a 13" laptop. My issue is that not all of the toolbar is shown ie the Artistic Text Tool is missing then if I uncheck show toolbar it shows up but then removes all the other buttons on the top of the screen and for the life of me I cannot see where the selection is for inches. So overall it seems a lot of stuff does not show on this new Dell XPS-13 with updated video drivers too.

If the toolbar is truncated because of insufficient screen width, you should see a ‘»’ symbol at its right-hand end. Click on it to access the hidden toolbar items.

Ah, OK, I misunderstood what you were describing! 

If you don’t have enough screen height to show all the toolbar buttons down the left-hand side, choose the ‘Customize Tools’ option on the View menu and increase the number of columns.
