[ADe] Smart guide distance visualization (implemented)

Recommended Posts

I would like to add my approval to this suggestion.  Showing the distance between objects makes life infinitely easier.  After having used two different implimentations of this functionality (fireworks & keynote) I notice it's absence in other applications.

This would be a win for many users.

I encourage kids to go ahead and play on my lawn. I mean, how else can I make sure the death-traps work?

All those +1's.   ;)

It is in the plan... snapping and layout improvements will be ongoing.  I'm going to be doing some work on it once I've done with my current tasks.

Sorry - not done much on this yet.

There are a raft of improvements I'm making to the core tools.  The aim to add better scalability to our tools - let you edit guides and grids in any appropriate tool, etc. This is taking longer than I hoped as I have other things on the boil (like PSD support and Lightroom workflow).  Once this is done, I'll look to adding these other features.
